FEEDING DIRECTIONS

Developing Gilts: Feed as the sole ration at a rate of 5 to 6 pounds daily from selection(180 to 220

pounds) to 10 days prior to breeding.

Pre-Breeding Sows and Gilts: Feed as the sole ration at a rate of 7 to 9 pounds daily for 10 days

prior to breeding.

Gestating Sows and Gilts: Feed as the sole ration at a rate of 4 to 5 pounds daily from breeding until

moving to the farrowing facilities(5 days prior to farrowing). The feeding rate can be increased to 6 to

8 pounds daily if needed to maintain body condition. Lactating Sows and Gilts: Full feed as the sole ration throughout the lactation phase. It is important

to bring sows up to full feed as quickly as possible following farrowing.

Developing Boars: Feed as the sole ration at a rate of 5 to 7 pounds daily.

Working Boars: Feed as the sole ration at a rate of 4 to 6 pounds daily. The feeding rate can be

increased to 6 to 8 pounds daily if needed to maintain body condition.

Fresh, clean water should be available at all times.
